Gore Lecture.. life on the breadline
Well worth watching this lecture by Chris Shannahan
CHRIS WRITES
For those who couldn't make it to my Gore lecture last night on Life on the Breadline: Theology, Mission and the Scandal of Systemic Poverty here is a video of the lecture, courtesy of Birmingham Cathedral's YouTube channel. The lecture begins just after the 11 minute mark and gives a flavour of the themes we explored during our LESRC funded life on the Breadline research and the questions I explore in my forthcoming book to be published by SCM in November. Have a listen and see what you think.
Delighted to share the publicity for my forthcoming Life on the Breadline book, to be published by SCM Press in November [Just in time for Christmas!] Thanks to everyone at SCM for making this happen and for ensuring the book will be out in paperback, as well as an e-book. Check out the link below and the great cover [thanks to Beth Waters for the artwork].
